Surface finish makes a big difference in both appearance and function. Broom finish is the most economical and provides excellent traction when wet — a practical choice for around pools or in shaded areas that stay damp. Stamped concrete can mimic natural stone, brick, or slate at a fraction of the cost of those materials, and we can add integral color or stain to match your home's exterior. Exposed aggregate offers a natural, textured look that hides minor wear well over time.

Tennessee's clay soils create specific challenges for patio construction. The expansive clay in Lawrence, Maury, and Giles counties can heave and shift seasonally, which is why we always excavate down to stable subgrade and build up a proper gravel base before pouring. We also ensure positive drainage away from your foundation — a patio that slopes toward the house is worse than no patio at all.
