Agreement to Terms
By requesting an estimate or booking a service with George Witherspoon Concrete LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all services provided by George Witherspoon Concrete LLC ("we," "our," or "us") to you ("customer" or "you").
Services
We provide professional concrete construction, repair, and finishing services throughout Southern Middle Tennessee, including driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, slabs, stamped concrete, retaining walls, and commercial concrete work. Specific service details, scope, and pricing will be outlined in your project estimate.
Estimates and Pricing
- All estimates are based on the information provided and site conditions observed at the time of assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions, scope, or access differ significantly from what was originally discussed.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- We provide free, no-obligation estimates with no hidden fees.
Payment
- Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. Larger projects may require a deposit before work begins.
- Final payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged in advance.
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Scheduling and Weather
- Concrete work is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule pours and finishing work due to rain, freezing temperatures, or extreme heat that would affect concrete quality and curing.
- We will contact you as soon as possible if weather requires rescheduling.
- Project timelines are estimates and may vary depending on weather, material availability, and site conditions.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide clear access to the work area for equipment and material delivery.
- Identify and mark any underground utilities, irrigation lines, or septic systems in the work area before the project begins.
- Keep people, pets, and vehicles off freshly poured concrete for the curing period specified by our crew.
- Obtain any required permits or HOA approvals before the project start date, unless otherwise agreed.
Concrete Curing and Care
Concrete requires proper curing time to reach full strength. We will provide care instructions for your new concrete, including curing times and sealing recommendations. Hairline cracks may occur naturally in concrete due to shrinkage during the curing process and are not considered defects. Color variations in stamped or decorative concrete are inherent to the material and process.
Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you notice any issues related to our workmanship, contact us and we will return to evaluate and address the concern. Our goal is quality concrete work that lasts for decades.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for damage to unmarked underground utilities, existing structures with pre-existing conditions, or issues arising from soil settlement or conditions beyond our control. We are fully licensed and insured and will address any damage caused by our direct negligence.
Website Use
The content on our website is provided for informational purposes only. Photos represent examples of our work, and individual project results may vary based on site conditions, materials, and design choices. We reserve the right to update or modify our website and these terms at any time.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
